Hi! I am Joie, and this blog is about the three things I love the most – Books, Adventures, and Celebrations.

I am no literary critic nor a bookworm. I read based on recommendations and whatever catches my eye on the shelves of a bookstore. However, it is no question that I love to read, and that book shopping is my kind of retail therapy.

When I was young, going to another country as a tourist, eating sushi, and speaking in another language was beyond my imagination. The travel bug and that spirit of adventure just wasn’t in our family (yet). Until I went on an exchange student program in another country. It was such a life-changing adventure. I’ve sought (and planned for) different adventures since then.

I believe that life should be celebrated, however cliche that must sound. And I believe that the mundane must be celebrated equally as the grand. Anyway, it is always the “little” and “ordinary” moments that keep me sane.

… So, I am starting this blog now that 2015 has started, in the hopes of sharing the great books, adventures, and celebrations in my life to others. πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks Mahima! It’s easy to follow, like, and comment on your blog – I love reading what you have to say. πŸ™‚ I’ll check it and see the Chocolate Book Tag (how to compare books to chocolate!!) – I shall think on this. πŸ˜€ Thank you for remembering me!

So here’s me, blogging newbie to another newbie saying WELCOME.

    And books, honestly.
I can’t even begin to describe how much I agree with bookstore browsing being retail therapy πŸ™‚
