Here’s the third book I have finished for July – Allegiant by Veronica Roth. I must say, this is my least favorite book in the series. That’s not to say that it was a bad book. It was alright.

Just finished reading my second book for July! And this book was worth the crazy looks for my sudden chuckles and sneers in public. (Yeah, I usually read on my way to work and on my way back home..)
Just Finished Reading: E. Lockhart’s we were liars
Because of my book blogging inconsistency, I made myself promise to at least post about every book that I have finished reading. Doesn’t even have to be much of a review. Just a picture of the book and my own personal rating. A few words could be included as a plus. So. I’ll start from there and hopefully build up on the habit. Hang in there everyone while I figure this out!
So anyway, let’s start with the first book I just finished reading for the month of July:
JUNE SUMMARY IN BOOKS (A bit late.. :P)
GOAL: 50 Books for this year.
Books Read in June: 4
Books Read in TOTAL (2015): 26 Books
Happy Birthday Bunny! :)
Last Saturday, my boyfriend (whom I fondly call bunny) and I went out to lunch to celebrate his birthday. It was such a perfect celebration in a cozy restaurant with great service and impeccable food! It was my gift to him and I don’t think I could have chosen a better place to celebrate with him. Thus, sharing this great restaurant find!
Book Haul… and the Impossibility of Staying within Value of a Gift Certificate at a Bookstore.
I’ve mentioned in my previous posts that I’ve had my birthday last month. And it is no secret that I love books and reading, so it is no surprise that I got a bookstore GC as a gift.
Happy 25th Birthday to Me! :)
I just turned 25 last Sunday! However, due to being sick the past days, I am only able to tell you about it now.
May Summary in Books (and in Goal Completion)
At the end of April, I set out goals for the month of May. Now that May has ended, here’s how I did:
IN BOOKS:
1. Read at least 4 books.
– I have read 20 books by the end of April, leaving me with 30 more books to achieve the goal of 50 for this year. Thus, around 4 books a month.
– HOW I DID: FAIL!!! I only read 2 books this month and not even halfway in my 3rd. I need to catch up since I really don’t want to cram in the last 2 months of the year to get to 50 books…
My Top 5 Favorite Quotes about Love in The Road Less Traveled
In my uni, we had to take 12 units (4 courses) of theology. One theology we had to take was the Theology of Love and Marriage.
In this course, we were introduced to the “definition” of love – pulled out straight from a chapter of the book by M. Scott Peck, M.D., “The Road Less Traveled: A New Psychology of Love, Traditional Values and Spiritual Growth”.
My Favorite Poem from Love & Misadventure
To choose from Lang Leav’s collection of poems about love and misadventure (misadventures in love? love being a misadventure?) is definitely NOT easy.
Her poems are easy to read and to understand. I hate it when poems are too… mysterious in their meanings. I feel like the best poems are simple and affecting. That’s my personal taste.
